Megan

Megan is an enthusiastic and experienced math educator. She believes that all students can be math learners and works hard to build respectful, empathetic, and safe relationships with her students. Megan is always challenging herself to become a better educator by pushing herself outside of her comfort zone. She currently teaches abroad and brings this unique experience into her teaching practice online.

Jaime

Jaime is a passionate and highly qualified multi-subject online tutor. She values relationship building with students and families and makes a point to get to know each of her students individually. She is able to give explicit reading instruction to struggling readers and does a great job balancing reading and math instruction for students who are in need of help in both subjects.

Jaime's qualifications:

  • 7+ Years teaching and tutoring experience 

  • B.S. in Early Childhood Education

  • M.Ed. in Reading

  • California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential

  • Multiple trainings and certifications in reading and literacy instruction

Melissa

Melissa is a passionate educator and lifelong learner. In her time as a journalist, she reported on issues in education. Her desire to help students through their struggles led her to leave journalism and pursue a teaching certification in 2007. Melissa has taught grades K-3 and has worked as a reading interventionist. Melissa is full of love and encouragement when working with students and loves celebrating their successes.

Zoie

Zoie is an enthusiastic and experienced tutor. She began tutoring in 2015 and has been providing personalized one-on-one instruction ever since. Zoie is passionate about education and strives to learn new teaching methods and techniques daily. When tutoring, she focuses on growth mindset and goal setting along with academic content. Zoie was a struggling student in K-6th grade, and she brings that experience into her tutoring sessions and relationships with her students.
