THE METHODS WE WILL USE:

 

We will use multi-sensory methods for helping students understand multiplication concepts and remember their multiplication facts. Students will be given the opportunity to explore different methods and choose those that work for their learning style.

 

THE CONCEPTS WE WILL COVER:

• Understanding the concept of multiplication through grouping and area models

• Remembering multiplication facts 1-12 using personalized strategies

• Understanding multi-digit multiplication using multiple models

• Mental math for multi-digit multiplication

• Problem-solving with multiplication and multiplicative relationships
