How do I pay with my Odyssey LA GATOR funds?

After we’ve agreed to start tutoring, you can find my services under “Hoffman Tutoring Group” in the Odyssey Marketplace. Add the tutoring package you would like to purchase to your cart and check out using your funds. Once the purchase has been approved, we will start with the agreed upon tutoring schedule!

Can I use LA GATOR funds if I'm homeschooling?

Absolutely! Many Louisiana LA GATOR families are homeschoolers who use tutoring to supplement their math curriculum or provide expert instruction in areas where they want extra support.

What if my child is using multiple LA GATOR services?

I'm Zoie Hoffman, a math educator with over a decade of experience helping K-8 students build math confidence and understanding. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Graduate Certificate in Mathematical Thinking for Instruction from Boise State University.
As someone who struggled with math anxiety growing up, I understand the challenges many ESA students face when traditional school settings haven't worked for them. My approach focuses on conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization, helping students develop genuine mathematical thinking skills.

I specialize in working with homeschool families, gifted students, kids in need of math intervention, and children who need a different approach to math education. Many of my clients come to me after trying other tutoring options without success.
